Truth Wrapped in Grace? REALLY???

The irony is not lost on me...I assure you that!  Lately, everything I have said is either truth, or grace....but truth wrapped in grace...definitely not!  So how did I get this name for my blog?  Straight from God, definitely.  What He desires to do through me through this blog?  No idea.  But my God is big, mighty and powerful, so when He's up to something, it is sure to be nothing short of big, mighty and powerful!!!
You see, for awhile I had been wanting to start another blog.  (Perhaps one I'd actually stick with writing for ;)  And a few weeks ago in church, my pastor challenged us to share the Gospel in whatever way God led us to.  He specifically mentioned that if you were a good writer, you could start a blog.  Bang....God hit me in the heart with that one.  Confirmation #1.  But (in my fun loving mind)...I'd need a catchy, fun name for it!  Something cute for sure.  But what?  Nothing seemed to grab my attention.  No good ideas, much less cute and catchy!!  Then a few days ago a friend sent me a FB message asking for my guidance on something a friend of hers was dealing with.  As I typed my response, I found myself using the term 'truth wrapped in grace'.  Bang....as soon as I typed it I just knew this was the title for my blog.  Confirmation #2. 
But in this lies the problem.  Since that day, the words that have come out of my mouth have seemed to be either truth, without the grace, or grace, without the truth.  Ouch. 
So maybe what I thought God was going to use for me to share my faith with others, He is going to use to strengthen me and my faith.  See, God is awesome like that.  And He's been moving in this way over the last week.  (But I'll save that for another post ;)  So I'm excited to see what God is going to do in me, through me, and maybe even in you.  I'm excited that you're along for the journey.  Buckle your seat belt...I know this is going to be a bumpy ride!!!!
